our story

CIE started trading in 1959 with one common aim of providing high quality kitchen products with a service that is unrivalled.

Our first major project was on London’s Southbank, in a development called Kings Reach. Over the last 60 years CIE has grown significantly, providing a premium quality product and service into many of London’s landmark developments, including Royal Residences and Embassy’s, continually building on our first class reputation. 

In 2015 CIE became part of the Nobia Group, Europe’s leading kitchen specialist with over 6000 people and an SEK13bn (£1.05bn) turnover. Nobia is committed to helping CIE grow and support our focus on prime central London residential markets.
